1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern all reservations, stays, and use of services at Pokhara Heights Resort, located in Pokhara, Gandaki Province, Nepal. By making a reservation or staying with us, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below.
2. Reservations & Payment
All bookings require a valid credit card guarantee at the time of reservation.
- Standard bookings may require full or partial prepayment depending on the rate selected.
- During peak season (October – December) and special event periods, a 50% non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your stay.
- The remaining balance must be settled at check-in unless otherwise stated in your booking confirmation.
3. Rates & Taxes
All room rates are quoted in the applicable currency and are subject to government taxes, service charges, and local tourism levies as required under Nepalese law. Rates are subject to change without prior notice, except for confirmed reservations.
4. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
- Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to arrival to avoid a one-night room charge.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival may incur charges up to the full stay amount, depending on the rate type booked.
- No-shows will be charged the full confirmed reservation amount.
- Deposits for peak season bookings are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
5. Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in time: 2:00 PM
- Check-out time: 12:00 PM (noon)
Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
6. Guest Identification
In compliance with Nepalese tourism and immigration regulations, all guests must present a valid passport or government-issued identification at check-in. We may be required to share registration details with local authorities as mandated by law.
7. Guest Conduct & Quiet Hours
To preserve the tranquility of the estate, guests are expected to respect quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
Pokhara Heights Resort reserves the right to refuse service or request the departure of any guest whose behavior disturbs other guests, damages property, or violates these Terms & Conditions. In such cases, no refund will be provided.
8. Property Damage
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to resort property during their stay. The resort reserves the right to charge the credit card on file for repair or replacement costs resulting from damage, misuse, or excessive cleaning requirements.
9. Liability Disclaimer
While we take every reasonable measure to ensure guest safety, Pokhara Heights Resort shall not be liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, nor for any injury, accident, delay, or inconvenience arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, transportation disruptions, or governmental actions.
10. Force Majeure
The resort shall not be held responsible for failure to perform its obligations where such failure is caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, strikes, pandemics, or transportation disruptions.
11. Third-Party Services
The resort may assist in arranging tours, transportation, or third-party activities. Such services are provided by independent operators, and Pokhara Heights Resort is not responsible for their acts or omissions.
12. Privacy
Personal information collected during booking and stay is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nepal.
14. Amendments
Pokhara Heights Resort reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website with the updated revision date.
